1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Voxtera AI platform — including the website at voxteraai.com and the Voxtera AI desktop application (collectively, the "Service") — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Voxtera AI ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@voxteraai.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You may not share your account with others or create accounts for the purpose of circumventing usage limits or subscription restrictions.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Use the Service to cheat in assessments where its use is prohibited by the administering organization
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity
- Use the Service to train competing AI models or products
5. Interview Assistance and Ethical Use
Voxtera AI is a coaching and preparation tool intended to help you practice, prepare, and build confidence for interviews. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with the policies and expectations of any organization conducting an assessment or interview.
We do not condone using the Service in ways that violate the explicit rules of an employer or assessment platform. Voxtera AI bears no liability for consequences arising from your use of the Service during third-party assessments.
6. Subscriptions and Billing
Certain features require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis depending on your selected plan. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all software, design, text, graphics, and AI-generated content, is owned by Voxtera AI and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial interview preparation.
You retain ownership of content you upload (resumes, notes, etc.). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process and store it for the purpose of delivering the Service.
8. AI-Generated Content
The Service provides AI-generated suggestions, answers, and coaching guidance. This content is generated algorithmically and may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate. You are responsible for reviewing and applying AI-generated content using your own judgment.
We make no warranty that AI-generated content will be correct, up-to-date, or suitable for any specific purpose.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Voxtera AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any reason we deem appropriate, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
You may delete your account at any time from your Settings page.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or via a notice in the Service at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction, as applicable.
